"...All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Jim back together again".
OR
"...I think I can, I think I can......, I know I would, I know I would, said the little man named Jim"
Heart beats fast, and my stomach squirms just looking at the elevation profile. I do not see one flat area within the 200 mile route. That means lots of power hiking up the hills and gingerly running down the hills. And don't get me started on the elevation...most of the race is over 7000 feet. I've been sucking down oxygen rich 700 ft air here in Michigan forever, what's going to happen to my body when I'm gasping for air while doing a measly walking pace? I feel the pain swelling up in my joints and the pointed pain of muscles filling with soreness just thinking about 3 days of running in the high Sierras. But, boy am I excited for 9/11/15!! Wish me luck.
Catch the action at Ultralive.net with live webcast with current race standings and checkpoint times. I'm lucky number 17! Also, I'll be wearing a "spot" satellite tracker for real-time location. I'll find out more on the link come Thursday, but try this one for now>
